WATER SYSTEM UPDATE – 2/19/2021 @ 6:00 p.m.
City crews verified that our water system is still holding pressure and that water quality and chlorine levels are stable. We have begun the microbial testing necessary to lift the boil water notice this afternoon. This test takes approximately 18 hours; as a result, we expect to receive these test results by tomorrow afternoon (2/20/2020).
The City will issue a Code Red reverse alert when the boil water notice has been lifted. You can register for CodeRed at portlandtx.com/320/CodeRED.
