The City of Portland is celebrating the Christmas Season throughout December with a full slate of holiday-themed activities. Join us for family-friendly events all month long as Portland rings in the holidays for one and all! Christmas on the Coast – Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting The Christmas spirit fills the streets of Portland as lighted floats and Christmas characters kick off Christmas on the Coast during a fun-filled holiday parade. It begins and ends at the Portland Community Center, located at 2000 Billy G. Webb Drive. A traditional tree lighting ceremony begins at the conclusion of the parade. Join the count down to the lighting of the Christmas tree and get in a holiday mood with carolers and ice skating at the Holiday Ice Rink. It all happens at Portland City Hall, located adjacent to the Community Center at 1900 Billy G. Webb Drive.
