The City of Portland is hosting an illuminated Tinsel Trot 5K walk/run and Merry Mile kids race on Friday, December 16, in the evening. Following the Tinsel Trot event, the City of Portland is hosting a free concert for residents and visitors to enjoy. The City of Portland is excited to announce Kyle Park is the headlining band.
The Tinsel Trot and Concert is a new event in the City of Portland’s annual Christmas on the Coast celebration. The Tinsel Trot is a 5K walk/run and includes a children’s Merry Mile race. Kyle Park will perform after the Tinsel Trot concludes at 7:30 p.m. This free concert will be held in the parking lot between the Portland Community Center, Aquatic Center and Joe Burke Pavilion – 2000 Billy G Webb Dr. Portland, Texas 78374.
