The Engineering Division is responsible for all public infrastructure projects such as:
- Municipal buildings & parking lots
- Parks improvements
- Roadway and drainage improvements
- Sewage disposal systems
- Traffic control devices
- Water supply systems
The division interacts on a regular basis with public works, parks and recreation, and the planning department, as well as providing support to the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals. The city engineer also serves as the assistant city manager.
